Having just received our Non-profit status in January 2004, your donations will be tax deductible, whether monetary, or food/litter etc.
Food/Supplies
We are using nearly 1200 pounds of clumping litter and 40 cases of canned food per month, as well as 250 lbs dry food. This is in addition to the 12 cats which are permanent residents in our home. Any donations of supplies would increase the number of rescued cats/kittens that we can care for at any given time.
We luckily have received as much Iam's dry cat food as we need, however we are still buying dry kitten food, canned food. We also need clumping cat litter such as Litter Clean in 40 lb buckets from SAMS (This is by far the best value and it is a good clumping litter). We ask that if you donate dry food, please donate kitten food, but we can distribute adult dry to help feed feral colonies.
Shelter
We would eventually like to build a detached heated building to house our rescues most of which are currently kept in a 12x19 room in our home. Any building materials or proper cages would be appreciated. We only cage wild or sick cats/kittens, mothers with their kittens, or any that don't get along with the other cats. The rest are free to run and play.
